Lawn Transformation Case Study
Ashby-de-la-Zouch
This lawn required extra work due to recent building work. The soil was mainly clay and was holding all the water. As you can see it sunk up to the top of my Wellington boot when I went to carry out the assessment!
To improve the soil quality, we mixed Professional grade 70/30 top dressing which is a 70% mix of horticultural sand and 30% sterilised loam. This material has been screened to 3mm and dried to ensure it is weed-free and free-flowing.
Once we had the correct consistency, we levelled and seeded the lawn. We then continued with our five specially designed treatments throughout the year.
